Forrest John Blakely

Visitation for Forrest John Blakely will be held Saturday, October 13, 2018 at the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Forrest John Blakely, age 60, of Skiatook passed away Monday, October 8, 2018 at his Skiatook residence.

Forrest was born December 2, 1957 in Norman, Oklahoma to John Ames and Joan (Forrest) Blakely. Forrest graduated high school from Memorial High School in 1976. He attended Rogers State College and graduated from TCC in 2009 with an associate’s degree in interior designs. Forrest married LuAnn Stone on December 28, 1999 in Manteo, North Carolina making their home in Skiatook. Forrest was employed with K.P.I. where he was a draftsman for the past 20 years. Forrest liked riding his bike riding in the MS150 bike ride until he couldn’t ride his bike any longer and then started volunteering working with the ride.

Forrest was preceded in death by his grandchild: Cooper.

Forrest is survived by his wife: LuAnn, two children: April Marie Blakely and Kristin Elizabeth Braden, his parents: John and Joan Blakely, step-daughter: April Irene Bramlage, one brother: David Blakely, nine grandchildren: Jordan, Houston, Caylee, Cash, Kali, Delilah, Thomas, Cadance and Crystal, one step-grandson: Jackson Daniel Bramlage, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Forrest Blakely has entrusted his care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
