Diane Florence (Mulligan) Rooker

Diane Florence (Mulligan) Rooker, age 73, of Bixby, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, August 11, 2022 in Tulsa.

Diane was born January 6, 1949 in Montreal Quebec, Canada to Weldon Pritchard and Thelma Oddney (Easy) Mulligan. Diane grew up and received her education in C.F.B. Shilo, Manitoba where she graduated high school in 1967 from the Princess Elizabeth High School. Diane married James Hogan Rooker on December 4, 1987 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas making their home in Skiatook until moving to Bixby in 2002. Diane was the Executive Secretary of Mazzio’s for Ken Selby. She loved her work and her work loved her. She remembered them all. Diane mothered everyone, and brought joy and fun wherever she went. She was a strong woman who inspired everyone around her. She loved to travel, her dogs, cooking and family. Diane worked on the family genealogy, marvelling in the stories she found going back as far as a thousand years. She found many new relatives and helped connect them. She was intelligent and beautiful, inside and out, and was loved by everyone she met. We’re going to miss her.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents; Thelma and Weldon, her husband; Jim Rooker a true American hero, her first husband; Jim MacDonald, and her brother; David.

Diane is survived by her daughters; Colleen (Sopotyk), Melanie (MacDonald) and Nancy (Rooker); her sons; Chuck Rooker and James Rooker, sisters; Thora and Caroline, and brother; Phillip, six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Diane Rooker entrusted her care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
