Funeral services for Wilma Glovena Cryder will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 18, 2013 at the First Assembly Of God Church with Pastor Robert Lokey and Pastor Brent McClure, officiating. Interment followed in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Wilma Glovena Cryder, age 85, of Skiatook, died at 2:51 a.m. Sunday,, April 14, 2013 at the Clare House in Tulsa.

Wilma was born September 14, 1927 in Hartshorne, Missouri to Lester and Martha (Stewart) Smith. Wilma grew up and received her education in Skiatook graduating with the class of 1945. Wilma married Robert Cryder on November 24, 1945 in Skiatook where they had made their home. Wilma was employed in retail sales with TG&Y, Wal-Mart where she was a door greeter, and worked in Home Health Care. Wilma liked taking pictures, working crossword puzzles, traveling, sightseeing and spending time with her family.

Wilma was preceded in death by her mother and father, husband, one son; Roger and by two sisters.

Wilma is survived by her two children; Kenneth Cryder and wife Judy of Skiatook and Cheryl Reddell of Collinsville, four sisters; Virginia White of Tulsa, Maudie Yarbrough and husband Jack of Skiatook, Judy Smith and husband Clifford of Skiatook and Shirley Catlett of Okemah, two brothers; Jimmy Smith and wife Diane of Skiatook and Frank Smith and wife Beth of Sperry, seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Music for the services : “Go Rest High On That Mountain”. Diana Lokey performed “How Great Thou Art”, “I’ll Fly Away” and “Beulah Land”.

Casket escorts for the services are; Jerad Reddell, Chad Reddell, Ricky Branham, John Hobson, Cole McCrary and Lucas McCrary. Honorary casket escort; Chris Cryder.
