William Earl “BJ” Kirby
Funeral services for William Earl “BJ” Kirby will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Veterans Memorial Building at Osage Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Dale Nielsen, officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
William Earl “BJ” Kirby, age 66, of Skiatook, died at 3:39 p.m. Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at his Skiatook residence.
BJ was born August 14, 1949 in Lansing, Michigan. He grew up and received his education Lansing graduating from high school in 1967. BJ served in the United States navy. BJ married JoAnn Morrison on December 9, 1978 and they made their home in Skiatook. BJ was a welder for Webco Tank working all around the country. BJ liked motorcycles and was on Farr Cycles pit crew, and enjoyed the lake and was an avid outdoorsman and was a pilot.
BJ was preceded in death by his wife: JoAnn.
BJ is survived by his daughter: Jerry Fortner and husband Eric of Skiatook, several nieces and nephews and by two grand dogs: Gracie and Precious.
Casket escorts for the services are: Caleb Morrison, Clay Morrison, Chad Morrison and Craig Morrison.
Honorary casket escorts are: Robert Goodman, “Brother” Charlie Morrison III and Rusty Pester.
Funeral services and interment are under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
