Virgil Floyd Miller, age 84, of Pryor went to be with his Lord and Savior at 7:50 p.m. Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at the Shady Rest Nursing Home in Pryor.
Virgil was born April 11, 1940, in Mission, Texas to William Roy “Leroy” and Thelma (Omstead) Miller. Virgil grew up and received his education in Tulsa where he graduated from Tulsa Webster in 1958. Virgil also attended Vo-Tech. Virgil married Judith Ann (Vosse) Sien on November 17, 1978, in Pryor where they continued to make their home. Virgil was employed with Hem-Saw in Pryor where he was a machinist for many years. Virgil loved going fishing, camping, gardening and was also known to play cornhole. Virgil was a member of the Creekside Church of Pryor.
Virgil was preceded in death by his parents, Willis “Leroy” Miller and Thelma Williams, one brother, Jerry Miller, sister, Patricia Ann Miller, and son, Robert Miller.
Virgil is survived by his wife Judy, his children, Floyd Miller and wife Carrie, Cheryl Sherman and husband Loren, three stepchildren, Tammy Ragsdale and husband Mickey, Jerry Sien Jr. and wife Kim and Randy Sien and wife Cara, sister, Penny Teltow and husband Joe, eleven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, one great-great grandson, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Music selections are “How Great Thou Art” “Amazing Grace” and “I’ll Fly Away”.
Pallbearers are Garrett Miller, Jake Griffith, Joe Teltow, Bennett Willis II, Jerry Sien III, and Kyle Sien.
The family of Virgil Miller entrusted his care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Skiatook, OK 918-396-9500.
