Virgie "Bea" (Harlow) Ralston

Virgie "Bea" Ralston, age 98 of Skiatook, Oklahoma went to be with
her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 9, 2024, in Tulsa,
Oklahoma.
Bea was born on August 15, 1926, in Hominy, Oklahoma to Henry
Edward and Mamie Ethel (Watkins) Harlow. She grew up and
received her education in Hominy and Avant and graduated from
Avant High School in 1944. After high school Bea went to college at
Tulsa Junior College where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree.
On January 29, 1946, Bea married Harold R. Taylor in Tulsa and they
made their home in Tulsa, Chicago, and Skiatook. Later in life she
married Earl Lester Ralston and they made their home in Skiatook
since that time. She was an LPN and later an RN supervisor at 2
North OBGYN Specialty where she was an original employee starting
2 weeks before opening in 1960. Bea was a member of Skiatook First
United Methodist Church and she enjoyed traveling especially going
on cruises and to Las Vegas. She also enjoyed shopping, working with
race horses and spending time with her family.
Bea was preceded in death by her parents: Henry and Mamie,
husbands: Harold and Earl, 4 brothers, and 3 sisters.
Bea is survived by her daughter: Sherri Claxton, grandchildren: Scot
Andrew Ready, Kimberly Diane Ousley, great-grandchildren: Ashlan
Rane Ousley, Sean Andrew Ready, Paris Allison Ready, several nieces
and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family of Bea Ralston entrusted her care and services to Sien-
