Victor E. Lurvey Jr., age 81, of Skiatook, passed away Friday, July 28, 2017 at his Skiatook residence.
Victor was born April 8, 1936 in Springfield, Missouri Green County to Victor E. Lurvey Sr. and Mary Katherine Clingan. Victor served in the United States Naval Reserves in 1954. Victor married Linda Bendure on February 14, 1958 making their home in Tulsa for 43 years before moving to Skiatook. Victor was a drafting Engineer for 40 years for Fibercast . Victor was also a photographer receiving many gold medals for best pictures. Victor liked to travel and had a passion for trains and was a member of PSA.
Victor is survived by his wife Linda, two children: Vicki Bradshaw and husband Jimbo and Vince Lurvey, grandchildren: Jennifer Bradshaw Rose and husband Brian, Sarah Bradshaw, Jake Lurvey and wife Sierra, Raychal and Josh Santucci and Brooke Lurvey and one great grandson Corbin Rose.
The family of Victor E. Lurvey Jr. entrusted his care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
