Funeral services for Vickie Marie Weeden will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 12, 2015 at the Skiatook Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Mitch Leonard, officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Vickie Marie Weeden, age 62, of Avant, died at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at the St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa.

Vickie was born January 18, 1953 in Vinita, Oklahoma to Robert Lee and Marie Elizabeth (Martin) Weaver. Vickie grew up and received her education in Tulsa. Vickie married Kenneth Ray Weeden in 1970 in Tulsa and he preceded her in death in 2003. Later Vickie met Michael Pappy Bence and they resided in Avant and he preceded her in death in 2015. Vickie was a homemaker of the home and had also worked as a waitress in various different restaurants. Vickie liked collecting Elvis memorabilia.  Vickie was a member of the Skiatook Free Will Baptist Church.

Vickie was preceded in death by her father, and her companion Pappy.

Vickie is survived by her five children: Robert Weeden, Rhonda Jernegan, Sherry Holmes, Kenneth Ray Weeden and John Elliott Weeden, her mother: Marie Weaver, one brother: Robert Queen, two sisters: Linda Whalen and Janice Whalen, seventeen grandchildren, one great grandchild several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Casket escorts for the services will be: Robert Queen, Joe Jernegan, Draven Weeden, Jake Holmes, Shawn Whalen and Daniel Queen.


Funeral services and interment are under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
