Vernon Vanoy Fuller

Vernon Fuller, age 91, of Skiatook, Oklahoma went to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday, November 16, 2022 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Vernon was born July 3, 1931 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Leonard Vannoy and Bertha Florenia (Reed) Fuller. He grew up and received his education in Holdenville and graduated 1949. Vernon joined the National Guard while in high school and after high school he was drafted into the United States Army and went into active duty September 1, 1950. He retired from the Army on June 30, 1971 in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. On October 27, 1957 Vernon married Barbara Ann Baker in Skiatook, Oklahoma and they made their home here since his retirement. After retiring from the military Vernon worked in communications for the United States Government. Vernon was a member of The First United Methodist Church Of Skiatook and he enjoyed flying Airplanes and photography.

Vernon was preceded in death by his parents: Leonard and Bertha, brothers: Ernest Eugene Fuller, Roy Ray Fuller, and Grandson: Corey Wayne Phillips.

Vernon is survived by his wife: Barbara, children: Kevin Ray Fuller, Max Anthony Fuller, four grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Vernon Fuller entrusted his care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
