Troy Lee ("Shorty") Dobbs
Was born on January 30, 1930. He passed away on November 13, 2018.
He was preceded in death by:
His wife of 63 years, Patricia Ruth (Allison) Dobbs.
His father and mother William Roosevelt Dobbs and Lillie (Smith) Dobbs.
His brothers Roy Russell Dobbs and John Roland Dobbs and sister
Velma (Dobbs) Tabor.
He is survived by 2 daughters. Debbie Whitworth and husband Gary of
Greenville, TX. Mary Hammon and husband Johnny of Bartlesville, OK.
Sister in law- Sally Dobbs, Eufaula. Sister in law- Pam Berndt and husband
Ed of Farmers Branch, TX. Grandsons, Granddaughters, Great grandchildren,
Nephews, Nieces, and Cousins.
Troy never met a stranger. Could always make you smile with
his Okie phrases. It was once said Troy Lee was like a box of
chocolates - you never knew what you were going to get.
He often referred to himself as a square peg in a round hole.
Always willing to help people. He would share Jesus with anyone
that would listen.
He worked as a machinist all his adult life. He was a Free Will Baptist
minister. He pastored churches in Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas and Arkansas.
Thank you Heritage Villa Nursing Home, Grace Hospice and Comforting Hand Hospice for your love, care, concern and dedication during these last couple of years.

November 17 at 1:30 PM.
Grave side will be following service at Osage Gardens Cemetery, Skiatook, OK.
