Troy Thomas Canady
Funeral services for Troy Thomas Canady will be held Thursday, January 31, 2019 at the Skiatook Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Candace Brim officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
Troy Thomas Canady, age 86, of Skiatook, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019 at his Skiatook residence.
Troy was born September 7, 1932 in Prague, Oklahoma to Thomas Randolph and Hattie Mae (Smith) Canady. Troy grew up and received his education in Newby. Troy married Beatrice Lorrine Kelin on March 19, 1955 in Sapulpa where they made their home until moving to Skiatook in 1968. Troy worked for Sapulpa Brick and Tile and was also employed with John Zink Company in 1966 until his retirement in 1997. Troy was one of the workers that helped build and setup the John Zink building. Troy was a member of the A Glorious Church Fellowship in Collinsville.
Troy was preceded in death by his mother and father, one son: Keith Alan Canady, six sisters and by two brothers.
Troy is survived by his wife: Bea, four children: Terry Canady and wife Jacque, Pam McDonald and husband Randy, Christi Fletcher and husband Mark and Charm Holcomb and husband Randy, two sisters: Willie Gaasch and Mary Wolfe, seven grandchildren: Thomas Canady, Seth Canady, Ryan Canady, Mandy McDonald, Tabatha Barnes, Steven Fletcher and Marca Wells, six great grandchildren: Brady Canady, Trenton Canady, Madyson Barnes, Trevor Canady, Peyton Wells and Wyatt Wells, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Music for the services will be: “Just Inside The Eastern Gate” and “I Want To Stroll Over Heaven With You”.
Pallbearers will be: Thomas Canady, Seth Canady, Steven Fletcher, Mark Richmond, Trenton Whitehouse and Tyler Broughton. Honorary pallbearer will be: Ryan Canady.
