Treva Jo (Stamps) Stover
Memorial services for Treva Jo Stover will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2016 with Rev. Dianna Izquierdo, officiating. A private family interment will follow at a later date.
Treva Jo Stover, age 63, of Skiatook, died at 2: 34 p.m. Thursday, July 21, 2016 at the St. John Medical center in Tulsa.
Treva was born August 13, 1952 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Clyde and Kelelah (Agnew) Stamps. Treva grew up and received her education in Skiatook where she graduated in 1970. Treva married Melvin Stover on February 16, 1979 in Tulsa made their home in Skiatook. Treva was a caregiver, had worked at Crystal Bay Marina, Granny’s Café, Utotem and the three sisters Kitchen. Treva liked to swim, spending time with her family, shopping, going out to eat, playing Yahtzee, playing cards, dominoes and taking care of her dogs.
Treva was preceded in death by her mother and father, husband Melvin, two brothers and by one sister.
Treva is survived by her children: Virgil Stamps and Victoria Stover, step-children: Carolyn Mattison and Wayne Stover, one brother: Jasper Stamps, three grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Music for the services will be: “Every Light In The House Is On”, “The Baby” and “I Can Only Imagine”.
