Funeral services for Thresa May Maloy will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 27, 2016 in the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Butler, officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Thresa May Maloy, age 81, of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma died at 4:01 a.m. May 24, 2016 at the Nowata Medical Center in Nowata.

Thresa was born May 17, 1935 to Fred Earl Coyle and Elmer Pearl (Goad) Coyle. She married Donald Ray Maloy on June 10th, 1954 and they made their home in Skiatook for 24 years before moving to South Coffeyville, Oklahoma. She loved fishing, quilting, camping with family and friends, playing cards, bowling, gardening, hunting coyotes with her husband and grandsons. She was a very loving wife, mother, sister and aunt. She held a special place in her heart for all of her family. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her daughters: Ellen Selvidge and husband David of Harpers Ferry, Iowa, Sandy Knisley and husband Tom of South Coffeyville, OK, three grandchildren: Chris Selvidge of Owasso, Scott Selvidge and wife Samantha of Claremore and Wyatt Knisley of South Coffeyville, OK, brothers: Pete and Dan Coyle and sister: Cora Maloy and numerous nieces , nephews and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Pearl (Goad) Coyle, husband: Don Maloy, Brothers: Earl, Johnny, Delbert, Clarence and Thomas Coyle, one sister: Margaret “Marie” Campbell.

Music for the services will be: “Long Black Train” and “I’ll Fly Away”.

Casket escorts for the services will be: Wyatt Knisley, Chris Selvidge, Scott Selvidge, David Selvidge, Tom Knisley and Roger Maloy.

Funeral services and interment are under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
