Funeral services for Thomas Roland Phillips will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 8, 2018 in the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Butler officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Thomas Roland Phillips, age 94, of Tulsa passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at his residence.

Thomas was born December 11, 1923 in Skiatook, Oklahoma to Thomas Robert and Ida Mae (Yeley) Phillips. Thomas grew up and received his education in Skiatook where he graduated in 1942. Thomas entered into the United States Navy in 1942 and received his honorable discharge in 1946. Thomas married Lucy Bohannon in 1945. Thomas was employed with American Airlines where he was a supervisor from 1947 until his retirement. Thomas was an avid bowler.

Thomas was preceded in death by his mother and father, two brothers, two sisters and a daughter.

Thomas is survived by Lucy E. Sumner and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
