Memorial services for Teresa Jo Martin will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at the Vera Full Gospel Fellowship Church in Vera with Philip Needel, officiating. Private Family interment will be held.

Teresa Jo Martin, age 50, of Grove, died at 7:19 p.m. Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at the Integris Grove General Hospital in Grove, Oklahoma.

Teresa was born August 12, 1963 in Carrolton, Missouri to Larry A. and Betty Louise (Lewis) McIntyre. Teresa grew up and received her education in Tulsa. Teresa married Jimmy Douglas Martin Jr. on October 21, 1981 at the Vera Full Gospel Fellowship Church in Vera and they made their home in Oologah until moving to Grove in 2002. Teresa was a homemaker of the home. Teresa liked crafting, knitting, was a soccer coach and a softball coach while children were playing sports and liked fishing. Teresa was a simple casual person and loved spending time and playing with her grandchildren.

Teresa was preceded in death by her mother and father and by one brother; Larry Allan McIntyre.

Teresa is survived by her husband; Jimmy of the home, two children; Jimmy Douglas Martin III and wife Lynsey of Nowata and Jamie Louise Cox and husband Daniel of Independence, Kansas, one sister; Lisa Louise Martin and husband Lance Covalt of Woodward, Oklahoma, four grandchildren; Abigale, Ryder, Cole and MaryKrista, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Cremation services are under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
