Memorial services for Susan Cooper will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 22, 2018 at the Skiatook First Baptist Church with Pastor Patrick Ridenour officiating.

Susan Cooper, age 60, of Skiatook, passed away at 6:11 a.m. Monday, September 3, 2018 at the St. John Medical Center in Tulsa.

Susan was born May 28, 1958 in McAlester, Oklahoma to James Alvin and Sally Kay (Clemens) Snell. She grew up and received her education at East Central High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma graduating in 1976. She married Jeff Cooper in Broken Arrow August 1, 1980 and they made their home in Skiatook. Susan was employed with AT&T from May 1977 until she retired in August 2007. Susan liked gardening, riding the Harley with her husband Jeff, travel, cooking, entertaining people, cookouts, family events, and helping people.

Susan was preceded in death by her father, James, and 1 brother: Jim.

Susan is survived by her husband: Jeff, 2 sons: Jeffery James Cooper, and Scott Alan Cooper, 2 sisters: Sally Snell Matthews, and Christy Ryan Becker, mother: Sally, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Susan Cooper has entrusted her care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
