Steven Wayne Engel

Steven Wayne Engel, age 52, of Skiatook went to be with his Lord and Savior, Wednesday, December 14, 2022 in Tulsa.

Steven was born April 24, 1970 in Peoria, Illinois to Thomas and Marilynn (Taylor) Engel. Steven grew up in Ellsworth, Illinois and received his education at Tri Valley High School in Downs, Illinois. Steven married Holly Lynn Gentry on January 28, 2002 in Gravette, Arkansas making their home in Skiatook since that time. Steven proudly served in the United States Army from 1988 to 1995.  Steven was employed with Holly Sinclair Refinery where he worked in Plant Operations. Steven enjoyed woodworking, bee keeping, guns, but most of all he loved his family and especially his grandkids.

Steven was preceded in death by his mother and father; Thomas and Marilynn Engel.

Steven is survived by his wife; Holly, four children; Cristopher Mattison, Bradley Mattison, Kara Railey and Alexis Engel and his pride and joys Peanut and JoJo, three brothers; Scott Engel, Lee Stewart and Chris Engel. Steven is also survived by his nieces and nephews; Cody Engel, Kayla Engel, Brittaney Wood, Maverick Williams, Macy Williams, Shoog, Emily Birt, Olivia Birt, Jerod Garber and Jacob Garber.
