Stephen Ray Crews (age 70) passed away peacefully on Feb. 20, 2021 after a 13 year valiant battle with cancer.  Born to Harold and Betty Crews in Oklahoma City, OK.  Steve served in the Air Force from 1968-1974.  Steve loved to fish, collect guns and to frequently swap out vehicles.  He had many beloved friends as he never met a stranger.  He spent most of his life working in construction and later as a Home Inspector.  He valued his family over everything else and designated himself as their protector.  Steve and his wife Cathie started out living in Oklahoma City and then moved to Stillwater, Oologah Lake and finally to Skiatook.

He is preceded in death by his father, Harold Crews.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Cathie Hughes; his mother Betty Crews; his children Stephen Crews II, Brandon Crews, Todd Crews and wife Ngoc, Breahna Palo and husband Nick; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; sisters Nancy Cook, Penny Coakley and husband Keith and his brother Rick Crews.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Steve’s life on Saturday May 1, 2021 at the City of Mustang Town Center, 1201 N. Mustang Road, Mustang, OK at 2:00 p.m.  We request that everyone who attends must wear a mask to protect those at risk.
