Shawn Edward Freeny, age 43, unexpectedly went to his Lord and Savior on August 24, 2021. Funeral services will be held for Shawn on Monday, August 30, at Sien Shelton Funeral Home in Skiatook. Shawn was born on May 19,1978 in Oklahoma City to Gary Freeny, Sr. and Janet Freeny. He grew up in Oklahoma City and Skiatook. He graduated high school in 1999. He worked for many years as a ceramic tile setter, as a forklift operator and as a brick mason. He later began a family and was blessed with four beautiful children. He enjoyed playing golf, watching any sport, especially OU football and loved fishing. He loved watching Ghost Adventures, Destination Fear and going on ghost tours. He spent a great deal of time watching his girls play softball. Shawn had an infectious smile and joked around with everyone. He had a kind heart and was loved by many.

‘Shawn is survived by his children; Peyton, Alyssa, Autumn and Presley; Janet Freeny, Gary Freeny, Sr., mother and father; sister Kelsey Schmidt and husband Brandon, brothers; Gary Freeny, Jr. and wife Rikki, Billy Freeny and wife Jennifer, nieces/nephews; Michael Myers, Stormy Harris, Trey Freeny, Ashtyn Freeny, Addisyn Freeny and Ellie Freeny as well as many other friends and family.
