Funeral services for Sharon Kay Bowlin will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at the Osage Gardens Cemetery with Pastor Jesse Madaffari, officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Sharon Kay Bowlin, age 71, of Skiatook, died at 12:09 p.m. Sunday at the St. John Medical Center in Tulsa.

Sharon was born May 22, 1944 in Iola, Kansas to John B. and Vinita Marie (Bromagem) Isch. Sharon grew up and received her education in Barnsdall graduating from high school in Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri. Sharon married Howard D. Bowlin on December 9, 1961 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma and they made their home in Ft. Leonard Wood until moving to Skiatook in 1965 where they had continued to make their home. Sharon was employed with Skiatook Public Schools in 1977 and retired in 2007 where she was the Cafeteria Manager. Sharon liked flowers, fishing, drawing and NASCAR. She was also a home room mom, a Girl Scout Brownie troop leader, a member of the Women's League, and a member of the Skiatook First Assembly of God

Sharon was preceded in death by her mother and father and by four sisters.

Sharon is survived by her husband Howard of the home, three children: Jeff Bowlin and wife Janine of Mounds, Ok, their two children: Sarah and Hannah, Kelly Landis and husband Donnie of Skiatook and their two children: Casey and Cody, Kristen Elliott and husband Gary of Owasso and their two children: Grant and Connor and Sharon’s dog Sophie, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services and interment are under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
