Sharlene Faye Herndon, age 81, of Tulsa, died at 10:30 P.M. Thursday, April 30, 2015 at the Sand Springs Nursing Home.

Sharlene Faye Herndon was born April 9, 1934 in pierce City, Missouri to Frank Douglas and Daisy E. (Reynolds) Sanders. Sharlene grew up and received her education in Vinita. Sharlene married Richard Joseph Herndon on April 9, 1953 in Vinita and made their home in Tulsa. Sharlene was a homemaker of the home and was also a Antique Dealer for many years.

Sharlene was preceded in death by her mother and father, one son and by one brother.

Sharlene is survived by:
her husband Richard of the home,
Five Children:
Rex Herndon of Tulsa,
Anita Herndon of Coweta,
Trina Mason of Ozark, Arkansas,
Kenneth Herndon of Tahlequah and
Eric Herndon of the home,
One Brother:
Bob Sanders of Santa Rosa, New Mexico,
Eleven grandchildren and
three great grandchildren,
several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Private graveside services and interment are under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
