Scott Andrew Marion, age 55, of Tulsa went to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, February 7, 2025.

Scott Andrew Marion, a cherished father, brother, and friend, passed away on February 7, 2025, in Skiatook, Oklahoma. He was born on June 29, 1969, in Dallas, Texas, to Carl Day and Sherry (McLaughlin) Marion, who preceded him in death.

Scott received his education in Allen, Texas, where he graduated from Allen High School. He furthered his academic pursuits at Stephen F. Austin College, earning his bachelor's degree. Scott's professional journey was marked by dedication and passion, most notably as a photojournalist with KJRH-2 News in Tulsa for over 20 years. His keen eye and storytelling ability left a lasting impact on the community he served. In addition to his career in journalism, Scott was also a skilled homebuilder in Owasso, further showcasing his diverse talents. Scott was known for his vibrant personality and love for adventure. He had a deep passion for martial arts, which reflected his athletic nature. His dedication to youth development shone through in his role as a coach, where he guided his son Jake's soccer team and contributed as a coach for the YMCA in Owasso. Scott also treasured moments spent at Lake Texoma, where he created lasting memories with family and friends.

He is survived by his beloved son, Jake Austin Marion, and wife, Mavis; his brother, Mike Marion, and wife, Jolee; two sisters, Kim Marion and Dawn Jesseph; two nephews, Cooper Marion and Jackson Marion; four nieces, Rachel Cabrera, Sarah Thunstrom, Jamie De La Mora and Jody Sanchez; and a host of other relatives and friends who will forever remember his spirit and the joy he brought into their lives.

Scott Andrew Marion will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of love, commitment, and passion for life will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.
