Saundra Marie (Hixon) DeGarimore

Saundra DeGarimore, age 81 of Skiatook, Oklahoma went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, December 23, 2023 in McKinney, Texas.

Saundra was born August 5, 1942, in Iola, Kansas to Robert William and Leona Marie (Driskill) Hixon. She grew up and received her education in Skiatook, Oklahoma and graduated from Skiatook High School in 1960. After high school she attended college at Oklahoma State University. On May 25, 1962 Saundra married John Francis DeGarimore in Skiatook where they made their home. Saundra was a homemaker and she loved quilting, golf, and painting landscapes.

Saundra was preceded in death by her mother and father: Leona and Robert.

Saundra is survived by her husband: John, children: Cheryl DeGarimore, Michele Hockett and husband Gordon, two grandsons, sister: Bobbie Crain and husband Jerry, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Saundra DeGarimore entrusted her care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
