Sandra Kay Weiskopf

Sandra Kay Weiskopf, age 87, passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 15, 2024 at her residence in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

Sandra is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Greg Simmons, her son and daughter-in-law, John and Barbara Weiskopf; her grandsons, Scott and David Hess and John and James Weiskopf; great granddaughter Jadin Weiskopf, and her brother-in-law Joseph Weiskopf. She is preceded by her husband John Sherman Weiskopf.

Sandra was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on April 29, 1936. After raising her children, she opened a flower shop in Tulsa with her best friend Joanne Detamore.  After retiring from the flower shop, she worked for both the Exchange Bank and American Bank of Oklahoma located in Skiatook, Oklahoma.

Sandra was a devoted mother and grandmother. Throughout her life, she was always the life of the party and was quick witted and had a great sense of humor.  Even in her final days, when her health was failing, she would still make her family and caretaker’s smile.

A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 pm on January 19, 2024 at the Sien Shelton Funeral Home, located at 1000 S. Lombard Lane in Skiatook, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association.
