Funeral services for Sandra Jean Barnes will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jerry Moore, officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Sandra Jean Barnes, age 62, of Skiatook, died at 8:08 a.m. Friday, April 24, 2015 at her Skiatook residence.

Sandra was born January18, 1953 in Ft. Benning, Georgia to Paul and Dorothy (Barr) Arnold. She grew up and received her education in Tulsa. Sandra married William Lee Barnes on February 15, 1971 in Turley and made their home in Tulsa until moving to Skiatook in 2005 where they have made their home since that time. Sandra liked going fishing, gardening and flowers.

Sandra was preceded in death by:
her mother and father,
two sisters and
two brothers.

Sandra is survived by her:
Husband William Lee Barnes of the home,
Six children:
William Cleo Barnes,
Randy Lee Barnes,
Timmy Eugene Barnes,
Tammie Jean Ramsey,
William Allen Barnes and
Jeremy Lee Barnes,
Several brothers and sisters,
Twelve grandchildren,
One great grandchild
Several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Music for the services will be:
“How Great Thou Art”,
“Amazing Grace” and
“The Old Rugged Cross”.

Casket escorts for the services will be:

Randy Lee Barnes,
Timmy Eugene Barnes,
William Allen Barnes,
Jeremy Lee Barnes and
Walter Ramsey.

Funeral services and interment are under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
