Ruth Virginia Hawkins

Ruth Virginia Hawkins, 92, made her transition on, Thursday, December 12, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. in Skiatook. She was born to Jim and Alice Rawlings Moss in Sulphur Rock, AR on September 1, 1927. There will be services later in Arkansas.

Jeff Hawkins and Virginia Moss were married after he returned from WWII. They made their home in Arkansas before moving to Wichita, Kansas in 1950, with their only child, Patsy Ruth. Jeff made his transition in 2003.  Virginia then relocated to Skiatook, OK to be with her daughter and her family.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents and husband; one grandson, Charlie Emmons, five siblings, Jack Moss, Lois Hawkins, Wilma Prichard, Lloyd Moss and Jimi M. Bell.

She is survived by her daughter Patsy Emmons Reid and husband David, Grandsons: Robert, Thomas, & Matt Emmons and David L. Reid. Great Grandchildren: Kayla and Casio Reid, Charlie, Jonah, JJ and Eli Emmons and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family of Virnia Hawkins entrusted her care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
