Roy Clyde Stamps

Funeral services for Roy Stamps will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2016 in the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dale Nielsen, officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Roy Stamps, age 69, of Skiatook, died at 11:10 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2016 at the St. John Medical Center in Tulsa.

Roy was born October 23, 1946 to Clyde and Kelelah (Agnew) Stamps . Roy grew up and received his education in Skiatook graduating in 1964. Roy married Pamela Sue Thompson in 1982 and then moved to Skiatook. Roy was employed with Busch Mfg., Riley South West where he was a purchasing agent, Roy also worked as an auto mechanic and has worked for Allred Hardware for the past ten years.  Roy liked fishing, sports, Nascar, watching Walker Texas Ranger and spending time with his family.

Roy was preceded in death by his mother Kelelah and father Clyde, wife Pamela, one brother Allen and by one sister Sonjie.

Roy is survived by his children: Mark Stamps, Johnny Stamps, Scott Stamps, Jeff Murphy and Cindy Ramos, one brother Jasper Stamps, one sister: Treva Stover, five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Casket escorts for the services will be: Mark Stamps, Johnny Stamps, Scott Stamps, Tony Stamps, Virgil Stamps, Robert Ramos, Chuck Allred and Cody Ramos.
