Ronald Gene Kopf

Memorial services for Ronald Gene Kopf will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 5, 2016 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Heath Tucker, officiating. Private family interment will be held.

Ronald Gene Kopf, age 66, of Skiatook, passed away Saturday December 31, 2016 at his Skiatook residence.

Ronald was born January 12, 1950 in Okeene, Oklahoma to Virgil Riley and Waunita (Nusz) Kopf. He grew up and received his education in Okeene where he graduated in 1968 and graduated from Oklahoma State University with an associates degree in 1970. Ronald married Debra Kay Rozell on May 31, 1975 in Skiatook where they have made their home since that time. Ronald was employed with Cummins Diesel for over twenty years and worked for others as he worked on opening his own shop at his home. Hobbies included building and flying RC Airplanes, he loved the outdoors, enjoyed his kids and grandkids, building a go-kart recently for his grandchildren and he loved the country life. Ronald was a member of the AMA and the First Baptist Church.

Ronald was preceded in death by his mother and father.

Ronald is survived by his wife: Debra, children: Melissa Kopf, Travis Kopf, Kristi Kopf and Adam Kopf, one brother: Virgil “Gene” Kopf, seven grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Ronald Gene Kopf entrusted his care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
