Funeral services for Roger Wayne Summers Jr. will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. James Lacey, Rev. Dale Nielsen and Derrick Zamora, officiating.

Roger Wayne Summers Jr., age 37, of Skiatook, died at 12:26 p.m. Friday in Skiatook.

Roger was born February 27, 1978 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Teresa Diane Thomas and Roger Wayne Summers Jr.. Roger grew up and received his education in Skiatook graduating from Skiatook High School in 1997. Roger married Michelle Rene Bales on April 28, 2012 in Skiatook where they continued to make their home. Roger was employed with American Airlines where he was in the plating shop. Roger liked spending time with his family, build things, cook, and spend time on facebook. Roger was a member of the New Covenant Bible Church and American Airlines T.W.U. Union.

Roger was preceded in death by his first wife: Derryle Brown.

Roger is survived by his wife: Michelle, children: Andrew Summers, Elizabeth Summers, Mackenzie Bales, Trey Recoy, Addilyn Summers and Meadow Summers, father: Roger Summers and mother Teresa Welborn, two sisters: Teresa Smith  and Jessica Summers Sanders, step-sister: Jennifer Penman and step-brother: Jason Welborn and a host of other relatives and friends.

Casket escorts for the services will be: Tobby Stumpf, Chris Hoy, Phillip Hoy, Edgar Gaither, Charlie Rotramel and Jeremy Rickey  .

Music for the services will be: “Superman”, “Dukes Of Hazzard” and “Amazing Grace”.

Funeral services are under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
