Celebration of Life Service for Roger Huddleston will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March13, 2019 in the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Bill Bowman officiating.

Roger Lee Huddleston, age 72, of Skiatook, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2019 at his Skiatook residence.

Roger was born October 17, 1946 in Sperry, Oklahoma to Gearld Kelly and Minnie Florence (Morrison) Huddleston. Roger grew up and received his education in Skiatook graduating in 1965. Roger married Wendy Ragan in 1965. In 1975 Roger married Paula June Keeling in Skiatook where they made their home since that time. Roger was employed with LAFARGE where he worked in maintenance from 1979 to his retirement in 2008. Roger had also been employed with Oklahoma Steel. Roger liked breaking and training horses, shoeing, buying and selling horses and loved to weld.

Roger was preceded in death by his mother and father, two brothers; Herman Ray Huddleston and Clayton Dean Huddleston and by one sister: Carol Jean carter.

Roger is survived by his wife: Paula, two children: Tracey Akin and husband Richard and Jess Huddleston and wife Kate, three grandchildren: Louden Akin, Lakelee Akin and J. Tom Huddleston, one sister: Ruth L. Leonard and husband Jerry, mother-in-law: June Keeling, brother-in-law: Clay Keeling, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
