Rodney “Hot Rod” Ken Hunt, age 60, of Skiatook went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday, September 4, 2021 in Tulsa.

Rod was born September 25, 1960 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Carol and Thelma Hunt. Rod grew up and received his education in Skiatook where he graduated in 1978. Rod married Cheryl Renea Collins in 1988 in Skiatook where he continued to make his home. Rod had worked for Mayabb Oil and Secrest in the 1970’s. Rod also was employed with List-Clark to help build the dam at Skiatook Lake in the early 1980’s. Rod then owned and operated Hunt’s Trucking Company. Rod enjoyed riding motorcycles, four wheelers and playing pool. Rod enjoyed hanging out with his friends, he was the life of the party.

Rod was preceded in death by his mother and father; Thelma and Carol Hunt and brother Randy Hunt.

Rod is survived by his son; Nick Hunt, step-daughter; Harley Self, brother; Rick Hunt, sister; Vickie Keele, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Rod Hunt entrusted the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home with his care and services.
