Robert Tate age 75 of Collinsville, Oklahoma went to be with his Lord and Savior Tuesday June 25, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Robert was born February 7, 1949, in Oglesby, Oklahoma to William J. Tate Jr. and Dorothy (Weaver) Tate. He grew up and received his education in Oglesby and Ramona, Oklahoma and graduated from Thermopolis High School, WY. After high school he was drafted to the United States Army and served in Vietnam in 1969. He received his bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University in mechanical engineering and was later employed with various businesses as a mechanical engineer. On January 30, 1971, Robert married Sally Ruth Morgan in Ramona. They spent most of their married life in Oklahoma with about eight years in Colorado and eventually ending up in Collinsville. Robert enjoyed golfing, hunting, working on the farm and on vehicles.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents: William and Dorothy, and brother: Dennis.

Robert is survived by his wife Sally, children: Robert Tate and wife Tracy, Dennis Tate and wife Jana, brother: Bill Tate, sister: Kathy Gagan and husband Chester, Waunita Grossman, Nellene Morgan and husband J.P., Diana Shivel. 5 grandchildren: Tiffany Loos, Morgan Kvamme, Tristan Tate, Jamie Tate, and Elena Tate, 3 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to Folds Of Honor.
