Born to Joseph Laborn Pool and Carolina Almeda Baker. He Graduated Shawnee High School in 1951. He was one of six children. He married Laura Kathryn Hoffman May 30th, 1953. Born to this union was David Wayne, Laura Lee, Pamela Faith, and Connie Jean.

Lee served his country with pride from 1953 to 1985 in the Army and Air Force. Lee widowed in 1991 and later remarried Betty Robey in May of 1992. They resided in Skiatook until his heavenly date. His liked teaching his children and grandchildren how to ski, fish, hunt, garden, and golf. He loved to travel square dance, wood work and share his love of the Lord. He didn’t have a shy bone in his body.

Preceded in death by son David, his first wife Laura, father and mother, and granddaughter Tara and two great-great grandsons.

Lee survived by his wife Betty of the home, his daughters Laura Pool and friend Jim Ryan of Skiatook, Pam and husband Jeff Burdette of Skiatook, Connie and husband Ulmer Miller of Skiatook, Deb and husband Kyle Kohlmeyer of Ramona, adopted sons Joe and Wife Sara Sherrill, and Steve Choate, 20 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, brothers Louie Jo and Allen Dale, cousin like a brother Tommy Pool, sisters, Jackie, Krystal, Susan and a host of family and friends.
