Funeral services for Robert Warren “Bob” Chasteen will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2013 in the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Brent Troxell with Church On The Move, officiating. Interment followed in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
Robert Warren “Bob” Chasteen, age 65, of Skiatook, died at 12:01 a.m. Saturday, May 4, 2013 at his Skiatook residence.
Bob was born November 28, 1947 in Richmond, California to James Arie and Francis Faye (Wheatley) Chasteen. Bob married Patricia Ann Kidd on July 1, 1966 in Turley and made their home in Tulsa until moving to Skiatook in 1975 where they have made their home since that time. Bob was employed with Fasset Enterprises for 24 years where he was a lead man. Bob was employed with Town of Skiatook where he worked in the Water Department since 1992, retiring in 2007. Bob liked fishing, camping, driving tractors, boating and watching cowboy movies especially John Wayne movies. Bob attended the Church On The Move.
Bob was preceded in death by his mother and father and by one brother.
Bob is survived by his wife; Patricia Chasteen of the home, children; Teresa Barber and husband Daniel, Robbie Chasteen and wife Kim and Shelly Davis and husband Brian, brothers; Lawrence Chasteen and wife Barbara and Glenn Chasteen and wife Althea, sister; Ramona Jackson and husband Vernon, six grandchildren several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Music for the services: “You Hold Me Now” and “I Am Saved”.
Casket escorts for the services are: Robbie Chasteen, Brian Davis, Daniel Barber, Brandon Davis, DJ Barber and Anthony Barber. Honorary casket escorts are: Sammy White, Mike Barnes and Keith Shields.
Funeral services and interment are under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
