Memorial services for Robert Samuel Buschmann will be held Saturday, June 4 2016 at 1:00 pm  at the Contact Church Of Christ - 1529 W 49th St, Tulsa, OK with Russell Hill, Terry Rush and Joel Osborn officiating. Private family interment will be held at a later date.

Robert Samuel Buschmann, age 56, of Collinsville, died Wednesday, June 1, 2016 from injuries he sustained in an auto accident in Tulsa.

Robert was born March 11, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois to Henry John and Mary Lou (Bennett) Buschmann. Robert grew up and received his education in Illinois, graduating from Shepherd High School in 1978. He later obtained a Real Estate Broker License in Indiana. He preached at Prue Church of Christ in Prue, OK and completed an accredited Worship Leader program at ACU in Abilene, Texas. He was a Job Coach for Sober Employment for Tulsa Neighborhoods from 2010 until his death and was involved in prison ministry. Robert married Cheri Bourbon on June 23, 1990 in South Holland, Illinois making their home in Indiana and then in Oklahoma in the Skiatook and Collinsville area for the past 15 years. Robert was working in the ministry at the time of his death--he was a redemptive worker. Robert has touched many lives and has walked up to people praying with them and for them. Robert liked coffee roasting, reading, cooking, baking, playing frisbee with his dog, drawing, making others laugh and spending time with his family. Robert was a member of the Church of Christ. Robert will be missed by all he came in contact with delivering the message and always willing to help when he could.

Robert was preceded in death by his mother and father.

Robert is survived by his wife: Cheri, two daughters: Jenna Buschmann and Jacqueline Jones, one granddaughter: Isabella Jones, one sister: Sandy LaBrec, two brothers: John Buschmann and Randy Buschmann, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
