Funeral services for Richard Eugene Hughart will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2016 in the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bill Taylor, officiating. Private family interment will follow at a later date.

Richard Eugene Hughart, age 65, of Skiatook, passed away at 3:05 p.m. Sunday, November 13, 2016 at his Skiatook residence.

Richard was born February 18, 1951 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Eugene and Peggy (Baker) Hughart. Richard grew up and received his education in Skiatook. Richard entered into the United States Army on June 29, 1971 and received his honorable discharge on June 24, 1974. Richard married Janet Noah and later married Pamela Lightfoot. Richard worked as a pipe liner for Pipe liners Local Union 798 in Tulsa, OK From 1969 to 1990 when he retired. Richard liked riding motorcycles, working on motorcycles, hunting, fishing and traveling. Richard was a member of the Pipe liners Union Local 798, 173rd Airborne and was of the Baptist faith.

Richard was preceded in death by his mother and father.

Richard is survived by his children: Shelby Hughart, Veronica Akers, Michelle Noah, Crystal Dawson and Amanda Noah, one brother: Harold Hughart, three grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Music for the services will be:”Freebird”, “November Rain” and "Fat Bottom Girls".


The family of Richard E. Hughart entrusted his care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
