Rhonda Kay Cooper, age 57, of Skiatook passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2019 in Tulsa.

Celebrating the life of Rhonda will be held at 4:00 p.m. Friday, September 27, 2019 at the Skiatook Church of Christ with Pastor Russell Hill officiating. Private family interment will be held in Houston, Texas.

Rhonda was born October 1, 1961 in Houston, Texas to Ronald Lee and Kathryn Kelley (Lawrence) Phillips. Rhonda grew up and received her education in Ventura, California where she graduated in 1979. Rhonda also received her Bachelor’s degree with a major in Business at Southwest Texas College in 1982. Rhonda married Gary Kent Cooper in 1992 in Skiatook where they made their home. Rhonda was a secretary for husband’s business and was a homemaker of the home. Rhonda growing up in Texas worked in the family flower shop in Texas with her mother. Rhonda loved working puzzles, loved to mow the yard and loved the outdoors. Rhonda loved watching her son Brett play sports following him to all the games and playing catch with him in the yard.

Rhonda was preceded in death by her father; Ronald Lee Phillips and her husband; Gary Kent Cooper.

Rhonda is survived by her son; Brett Cooper, her mother; Kathryn Maingot, aunt; Mary Buford and dear friend Robin Thorne. Rhonda is also survived by many cousins and other relatives and friends.

The family of Rhonda Cooper has entrusted her care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
