Memorial services for Retha Giles, will be held Monday, June 5, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dianna Izquierdo, officiating.

Retha Alvina Giles, age 83, passed away at Sequoyah Pointe Living Center on May 27, 2017.

Retha was born on January 19, 1934 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Robert L. and Beulah Mable (Baker) Tyner.  She grew up and received her education in Sperry, Oklahoma. Retha married William Giles on October 16, 1971 in Huntsville, Arkansas, making their home Skiatook.  She worked for Dee Waid Ford and was also a waitress. Retha enjoyed dancing, going to the casino and painting. She was a member of the First Christian Church.

Retha is survived by her children: Karen Turcott, Susan Cox and Bryan Giles, eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Retha is preceded in death by her mother and father, husband, one sister and grandson Darren.

The family of Retha Giles entrusted her care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
