Raymond Dean Martin

Raymond "Dean" Martin, age 83, died at home in Jones, Oklahoma.
Funeral services for Raymond Dean martin will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Randy Leniger, officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Dean was born March 27th, 1933 in Skiatook, Oklahoma to Rev. Wolford and Gladys Martin.   He grew up in Webb City, Oklahoma and attended Shilder High School where he graduated in 1951.  He married Glenda Martin on January 24th, 1953 and made their home in Skiatook where they raised four children.  He served in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954 during the Korean War.  Dean worked for American Airlines for 45 years before retiring.  He was also the Pastor of Hillside Church for over twenty years.  He married Jane Knowles on August 22nd, 1998 and lived in Jones, Oklahoma where they made their home.

Dean was preceded in death by his mother and father, wife Glenda, grandson William.
He is survived by his wife, Jane Martin, daughter Brenda Graves and husband Joe Kathy Caughron and husband Gary, son Ron Martin and wife Janet, son Shawn Martin and wife Joanna,  step-son Donnie Knowles and wife Shelly, step-daughter Lisa Knowles,  seven grandchildren Chad Terry, Jeremy Taylor,Danielle Terry, Josh Taylor, Michael Martin, Sam Martin and Cole Martin.

Casket escorts will be: Shawn Martin, Ron Martin, Jeremy Taylor, Josh Taylor, Donnie Knowles, Buzz Leniger, Samuel Martin and Michael Martin. Honorary casket escorts will be: Cole Martin, Austin Knowles, Justice Clark, Dawson Clark, Gary Caughron and Bro. Moore Sr..
