Memorial services for Randell Marion Allen will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 17, 2013 in the First Baptist Church in Avant with Rev. Raymond Henson, officiating. Private family interment will follow.

Randell Marion Allen, age 84, of Barnsdall, died Monday, January 14, 2013 at 9:05 p.m. at his son’s residence in Skiatook.

Randell was born October 27, 1928 in Borger, Texas to Herbert Marion and Flora Ann (Coffman) Allen. Randell grew up and received his education in Wynona. Randell married Mary Elizabeth Brown on January 12, 1942 in Skiatook and they made their home in Barnsdall since that time. Randell was employed with the Wax Plant in Barnsdall in 1950 and retired in 1991. Randell was one that liked to work all the time, but also enjoyed fishing, grandkids and loved to support them with there sporting events. Randell was a member of the Avant Baptist Church.

Randell was preceded in death by his mother and father, wife; Mary Elizabeth Allen and by one sister.

Randell is survived by his five children; Patricia Bradshaw of Carrizo Springs, Texas,  Marlin Lesley Allen of Barnsdall, Twins; Donnie Allen of Skiatook and Ronnie Allen of Barnsdall and Mark Allen of Barnsdall, twenty-one grandchildren, thirty seven great grandchildren, three great- great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
