Preshia Jane Hullet

Funeral services for Preshia Jane Hullet will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 2, 2017 at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Dale Nielsen and Rev. Susan Whitley, officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Preshia Jane Hullet, age 92 of Skiatook passed away Sunday, February 25, 2017 at her Skiatook residence.

Jane was born May 9, 1924 in Inola, Oklahoma to Carrel Milton and Bertie Melinda (Hewitt) Hall. She grew up and received her education in Broken Arrow, graduating in 1942. Jane married Herschael Ray Pettey in 1943. She later married Wilbur Hullet making their home in Skiatook. Jane was a homemaker of the home, she enjoyed painting, cooking, sewing and gardening. Jane was a member of the First United Methodist church.

Jane was preceded in death by her mother and father, Husband’s: Herschael Ray Pettey and Wilbur W. Hullet, two brothers, four sisters and by one stepson.

Jane is survived by her children: Linda Jane Buzzard, Michael Ray Pettey and Patricia Elaine Shipman, stepchildren: Judy Wear, Ron Hullet and Gary Hullet, siblings: Carrell Elton Hall, Margaret Culley and Yvonne Ross, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, several nices and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Music for the services will be: “I Believe”, “Go Rest High On That Mountain”, “How Great Thou Art” and “When I Get To Where I’m Going”.

Casket escorts for the services will be: Tate Shipman, Tyler Shipman, Chris Buzzard, Mike Pettey, Frank Shipman and Jesse Buzzard.

The family sends special thanks to Millennium Hospice of Tulsa, Teresa and Heidi her nurses, Jackie her special aid, and last but not least her special caregiver’s “Angel Margarette” McKinney, Barbara Volz, Donna Masterson and Jamie Turley.

The family of Preshia Jane Hullet entrusted her care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
