Peggy Ann (Lucas) Francis

Peggy Ann Francis, age 87, of Skiatook went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, August 16, 2023 in Bartlesville.

Peggy was born March 30, 1936 in Greenwood, Mississippi to Winnie Lucille (Wilson) and Oliver Wilson Lucas Sr. Peggy grew up and received her education in Greenwood, Mississippi and in Oregon. Peggy married Jackie Lee Francis July 17, 1992 in Skiatook where they made their home. Peggy was employed as a waitress most her life. Peggy liked camping and fishing with her dad in Oregon. When Peggy was growing up she liked her mom reading the bible to her she said she would read it like a storybook so she could understand it. Peggy loved her family and friends and tried to be the best mom she could be to her children.  Peggy liked working in her flower beds and feeding the wild birds. Peggy knew that Jesus was her Lord and Savior.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; Oliver and Winnie Lucas, husband Jack, brother; Oliver “Butch” Wilson Lucas and grandson Dylon Hanson.

Peggy is survived by her children; Debra Hayes, Ramona Wilson and Todd Wayne Helms, grandchildren; Angela Hayes, Elizabeth Hayes, Amanda Dickerson, Laura Hanson, Heather May and great granddaughter; Everley May, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Peggy Ann Francis entrusted her care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
