Funeral services for Pauline Brown, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 27, 2014 at the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William Vance, officiating. Interment will follow at the Ridgelawn Cemetery, in Collinsville, under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
Pauline Francis Brown, age 98, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at her residence in Skiatook.
Pauline was born August 22, 1916 in Wayside, Oklahoma to Charles W. and Harriet Jane (Ruland) Hulsizer. She grew up and received her education in Avant, Oklahoma. Pauline married Ernest Brown on August 18, 1935 in Collinsville, Oklahoma where they made their home for a few years. They moved to Sapulpa, Oklahoma in 1945 and then moved to Skiatook, Oklahoma in December 1952. They built a home on Grand Lake and lived there from 1972-1980 before moving back to Skiatook. Pauline attended Church of God in Skiatook, enjoyed listening to Joyce Johnson, loved company, her kids and grandkids, ceramic and crocheting. She enjoyed watching Food Network, Fox News, NASCAR, Texas Rangers Baseball, Dallas Cowboys and PBR Bull Riding.
Pauline was preceded in death by her mother and father, husband and son Donald Brown.
Pauline is survived by her son Ernest W. Brown, daughter in law: Wilma Brown, 6 grandchildren: Gregory W. Brown, Clifton E. Brown, Jerry R. Brown, Tammy L. Brown, Jennifer F. Jenkins and Amanda K. Lamb, 14 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Casket escorts for the service: Greg Brown, Cameron Brown, Clifton Brown, Garrett Brown, Jerry Brown and Aaron Phillips.
Music for the service: “How Great Thou Art” “Peace In The Valley” and “Going Home.”
Funeral services and interment will be under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
