Memorial services for Jim Morgan will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday July 20, 2018 at the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dale Nielsen officiating.

Paul James “Jim” Morgan was born August 31, 1940, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Ralph Eugene and Esther Moline (Copeland) Morgan. He passed away July 14, 2018 in Skiatook, Oklahoma.

Jim married Phyllis Weathers on June 24, 1960, with whom he had three children. He married Julia Parnell in August 2001. Jim was the FFA President in High School and received the State Farmer Degree. Jim had several careers throughout his life. He was a farmer, a heat and air contractor, and later operated a vending company. In retirement he loved fishing, traveling, and raising dogs.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, his brother: Frank, and sisters: Imogene Lassley and Ruth Parks, and wife Julia Parnell Morgan.

Jim is survived by his twin sister: Judy Spurgeon, son Clinton Eugene “Hoot” and Wife Trish Morgan of Skiatook, daughter Charla and husband Tony Berry of Springfield, Missouri, daughter Shelly Morgan of Skiatook, and daughter Becky and husband Bob Schlaegel of Franklin West Virginia. He has seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.

Songs will be: “Why Me Lord”, “Blue Skies”, and “Finally Friday”.

The family of Jim Morgan has entrusted his care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
