Patsy Sue Sandridge Pippin

Patsy Pippin, age 88, of Skiatook went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 9, 2021 at The Journey Home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

Patsy was born January 22, 1933 in Pilot Point, Texas to Willie Lee and Helen Catherine (Cripps) Baker. She grew up and received her education in Skiatook. On July 14, 1951 Patsy married Earnest Sandridge in Skiatook where they made their home. Patsy and Earnest were married 50 years until Earnest’s passing in 2002. On March 17, 2007 Patsy married Clarence Pippin in Skiatook. Patsy was employed as a cook with Skiatook Public Schools for 53 years. When school was out for the summer, she worked in the bakery department at Safeway and Homeland. She was a member of Skiatook Freewill Baptist Church. Patsy enjoyed going to garage sales and taking care of grandbabies.

Patsy was preceded in death by her mother and father: Helen and Willie, her husbands: Earnest and Clarence, son: Billy Lee Sandridge and sisters: Tommy Jo Inman and husband Paul, Peggy Nell Hughart and husband Eugene, Billie Faye Pursley and husband George, and Kathryn Rae Rasberry and husband Buck.

Patsy is survived by her children: Cathy McQuay, Tammy Avery, and Brent Sandridge, sisters: Dorothy Russell and Barbara Fuller, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Patsy Pippin entrusted her care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Skiatook.
