Patrick “Pat” Owen Turner
Pat Turner, age 64, of Skiatook, Oklahoma went to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday, July 14, 2024, at his residence.
Pat was born March 18, 1960, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Bobby Ray and Beverly (Holloway) Turner. He grew up and received his education in Skiatook and graduated from Skiatook High School in 1978. After high school he attended college at Northeastern Oklahoma University in Miami, Oklahoma and Langston University in Tulsa and received his bachelor’s degree. On June 27, 1982, Pat married Paula Kay Smith at Skiatook First Baptist Church and they made their home in Skiatook since that time. Pat was employed as a purchasing agent with BS & B Safety Systems, Triumph Aerostructures, and Samson Resources. He was a member Tri-County Baptist Church where he was a deacon, and he was an ordained minister and chaplain with the Oklahoma Baptist Disaster Relief. Pat enjoyed collecting tools, collecting CD’s, going to the flea market, and antiquing.
Pat was preceded in death by his parents: Bobby and Beverly, brothers: Scott DeWayne Turner, and CD Turner.
Pat is survived by his wife: Paula, children: Katherine Turner, Amanda Turner, brother: Bob Turner and wife Vickey, several nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family of Pat Turner entrusted his care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to Oklahoma Baptist Disaster Relief.
