Patricia Lucille Baker, resident of Barnsdall, a beloved daughter, sister, wife, aunt, and grandmother, passed away on March 28, 2025, at the St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 75. Born on December 15, 1949, in Tulsa, to George Hughes and Lucille Mary (Freymuth) Ford.
Patricia's professional journey was marked by her dedication and expertise in the field of taxation. She proudly served as a Tax Specialist for The Proctor & Gamble Co. for 21 years, a position she held with integrity and commitment until her well-deserved retirement in 2012. Her accomplishments in her career were a testament to her meticulous nature and passion for her work.
In addition to her professional life, Patricia was a lifelong learner, having achieved her high school diploma and later earning a bachelor's degree. This education laid the groundwork for her successful career but also enriched her perspective on the world and strengthened her desire to explore new horizons.
A woman of diverse interests, Patricia loved to travel, seeking out new experiences and adventures. She treasured the time spent with family, creating lasting memories and bonds that would endure beyond her lifetime. An avid sports enthusiast, Patricia frequently immersed herself in games and events, sharing her enthusiasm and love for the teams she supported.
Patricia was surrounded by a loving family who will continue to cherish her memory. She is survived by her nephew, Kenny Bowman and his wife Gail; nieces, Shelly Bias and her husband Robin, Georgianne Kjonegaard and her husband Greg; and Lori Blevins and her husband Jamie, several great and great-great nieces and nephews; three grandchildren, Stephanie, Katelyn, and Kevin; and six great-grandchildren. Additionally, she is remembered fondly by a host of relatives and friends who were touched by her kindness and warmth.
She now joins her deceased family members, including her parents, George and Lucille Ford; her husband, Don E. Baker; her sisters, Mary Williams and Judy Bowman; and her brother, Bud Ford. Their reunion is a source of solace for those left behind.
Patricia Lucille Baker will be remembered not only for her professional accomplishments but also for her deep affection for family, her adventurous spirit, and her enduring legacy of love and laughter. She leaves behind a vibrant legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew and loved her.
