Funeral services for Nona Lee Johnson will be at 9:00 Wednesday, November 4th ,2020 at Skiatook Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Mitch Leonard, officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Sien- Shelton Funeral Home.
Nona Johnson age 66 of Skiatook, died at 1:10 P.M Thursday October 29, 2020 in Tulsa. Born August 27, 1954 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
She was born to Cliff and Emma Lee Goines. Who have proceeded her in death.
In 1967 they moved to Skiatook and that is where she met her highschool sweetheart. She married Thomas Scott Johnson January, 24th, 1975.
If you knew Nona you know she loved having her family around her even though it is loud that is what she liked, seeing all those little ones running and playing.
She enjoyed her and Tom’s trips to Branson. She would take him from store to store shopping and she loved it!! Then they would head to Silver Dollar City and enjoy the music and fun.
Nona lived her life by this and taught it to her daughters and all her Grandkids. First of all and very importantly God first and Family second.
Nona is survived by her husband of 45 years, Thomas Scott Johnson. Three daughters Missy Gardner and husband Mike Gardner, Jodi Robinson and husband Jeremy Robinson and Amy Coffman and husband Curtis Coffman. All of Skiatook
13 Grandchildren. Krista Mulvihill, Taylor Mulvihill, Katelynn Ransom , Waylon Ransom, Justin Ervin, Corinne Taylor, Kyle Coffman, PVT Gunnar Coffman, Jordy Coffman, Byron Robinson, Kaylee Cooper, Colton Robinson and Dillon Robinson. All of Skiatook and Five Great Grandkids. Tucker Mulvihill, Lillee Mulvihill, Elizabeth Mulvihill, Brooklynn Ransom and Kyler Ransom.
And a host of family and friends.
