Funeral service for Nolly Ann Blankenship will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 7, 2017 at the the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Robert Lokey and Shawn Blankenship, officiating.  Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Nolly Blankenship, age 79, of Sapulpa, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at the St. John Medical Center in Tulsa.

Nolly was born April 25, 1937 in Coalgate, Oklahoma to Clarence Eugene and Fannie Ironee (Scott) Wolf.  She grew up and received her education at Bethany graduating in 1954.  Nolly married Darrell D. Blankenship on April 3, 1953 in Bethany making their home in Skiatook most of their married life.  She was a telephone operator, worked in sales and a homemaker.  Nolly was an avid reader, enjoyed crochet, playing cards and dancing.  She attended the Freewill Baptist Church.

Nolly was preceded in death by her mother and father, husbands: Darrell Blankenship and Ernest Blankenship, two brothers, stepson: Jackie Lee Blankenship, two daughters, Teresa Lynn Strickland and Dawn Renee Mills.

Nolly is survived by her sons: Rick Blankenship, Bryan Blankenship and Shawn Blankenship, three stepchildren: Sterling Blankenship, Michelle Mendez and Wesley Blankenship, sister: Lois Pendergrass, twenty seven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Music for the services will be: “Go Rest High on That Mountain” “Lord I Hope This Day Is Good” and “Amazing Grace.”

Casket escorts: Dakota Blankenship, Tucker Blankenship, Seth Blankenship, Noah Blankenship, Coltin Strickland and Elijah Blankenship.  Honorary casket escorts: Benjamin Blankenship, Simon Blankenship, Grayson Blankenship, J.J. Blankenship and Jimmy Blankenship.

The family of Nolly Ann Blankenship entrusted her care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
