Funeral services for Nina Elizabeth Anderson will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at the Turley Methodist Church with Joe Donelson, officiating. Interment will follow in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Nina E. Anderson, age 88, of Turley, died at 11:55 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2016 at the Evergreen Care Center in Owasso.

Nina was born October 1, 1927 in Owasso, Oklahoma to James and Tessie (Harvey) Donelson. Nina grew up and received her education in Tulsa graduating in 1945. Nina married Robert Calvin Anderson on January 11, 1946 in Turley where they had made their home. Nina had been employed as a bookkeeper for Clark Wadell Paint Supply, the Y.M.C.A. and was a Church Secretary. Nina liked going fishing, sewing, gardening, cooking and working on genealogy.

Nina was preceded in death by her mother and father, husband, two brothers, one sister and one daughter Elizabeth Sue Wilkinson.

Nina is survived by her two children:  Robert Calvin Anderson Jr. and David Loyd Anderson, nine grandchildren, several great grandchildren several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Music for the services will be: “Just As I Am”, “The Old Rugged Cross” and “Farther Along”.

Casket escorts for the services will be: Adam Anderson, Pete Anderson, Matt Wilkinson, Rob Anderson, Cliff Mims and Mike McClure.

Funeral services and interment are under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
